Volunteer Trail Patrol Program
The purpose of the Volunteer Trail Patrol Program is to assist the San Mateo County Parks Department in providing safe and enjoyable trail use for park visitors. The scope of the volunteer activity is to observe and report trail and recreational use, trail conditions, provide general park information to the public and assist park visitors.
A Trail Patrol Training Class will be held in the spring and summer seasons for new and current trail patrol volunteers. Additional CPR/First Aid classes will also be scheduled to accommodate park volunteers.
