Oak, Redwood, Maple and Bay trees provide some shade, but it is mostly sunny. Expect warm to hot weather in the summer; light breeze in the afternoons. A nearby volleyball court and horseshoe pit are available on a first come-first serve basis. Barbecues can be raised or lowered. Private vehicles are not allowed in the picnic areas. Deliveries, caterers, and groups with large quantities of supplies must be approved by park staff.
