The south side of dock 29 consists of of eleven 45' berths while the north side has ten 50' berths. Additionally the dock has a 100' end tie (2922-2925) and two inside ties (2900 and 2999). Due to the design of the ramp, berth 2999 is limited to vessels 36' in length or less. The 45' berths can accept a boat with a maximum total length of 46' feet and are 18' wide. The 50' berths are located in the turning basin and therefore can allow a reasonable amount of overhang (in the neighborhood of 55'). The 50' berths are 20' wide.
Dock 28 shares the same ramp and gate entrance as Dock 27. Dock 28 consists of twelve 40' berths on the north side of the dock and seventeen 28' berths on the south. Additionally the dock has a 73' end tie (2826-2835), one 40' inside tie (2800) and four 18' limited-side ties (27 E, D, C, B) located alongside the healdwalk that connects to Dock 27. The 40' berths on Dock 28 are 16' wide and can accommodate a boat with a maximum length of 41'. The 28' berths on Dock 28 are 11' wide and can accommodate a boat with a maximum length of 29'.
All berths on Dock 29 and 28 are of concrete construction and (with the exception of 27 E, D, C, B,) have a dock box, hose bib and 30 amp electrical service. The inside ties (2900, 2999, 2800 and 27 E, D, C, B) are irregular berths and assigned by the Harbormaster independently of the wait list. The inside ties are often used to accommodate multihulls too wide to fit in regular berths, and can also allow some overhang into the channel. The Dock 28 end tie (2826-2835) can be rented to a boater with a vessel longer than 50' (along with the end ties on Docks 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22 and 21). The Dock 29 end tie (2922-2925) is normally kept open for guest berthing or emergencies.
Depths in the Marina vary, please inquire as to the exact depths when requesting a particular berth.
